Thomas Leschke, MD Hand SurgeonMeet Fellow Dr. Thomas Leschke

Born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, our Fellow, Dr. Thomas Leschke, decided to keep close to home for his medical training as well. He attended Butler University for his undergrad work and then finished out Medical School at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

When we asked Dr. Leschke why he chose CMKI, his response was, “ because I was impressed by the legacy of Hand Surgery instruction at the institution and the opportunity to learn from the leaders in the field as well as study with fellows from around the world.”

Dr. Leschke also let us know that he appreciated that our staff at Kleinert and Kutz are incredibly dedicated to teaching and foster an incredible learning environment - we love hearing that!

During his downtime, Dr. Leschke enjoys playing music and going skiing - both Alpine and Nordic.

We asked Dr. Leschke what he thought the greatest challenge of being a doctor was, and he told us that he thought it was, “ making sure that patients feel heard and comfortable with their care. I strive to make personal connections with my patients to foster a sense of trust and mutual respect.” We can’t argue with that!

Our hand specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call (502) 561-4263 for hand emergencies or to schedule an appointment.
