Will you tell us about one of your favorite patients?

I had a patient who was unable to hold a pencil to complete his artwork. I made him a larger handle so he was able to draw a picture. I could see his joy at being able to complete his drawing activity. We set a goal to track his progress by comparing his pictures. My job always humbles me, but this experience empowered me in realizing the impact we have as therapists to help people regain their independence and continue to do things that matter a great deal to them.
