#MyHandsCan Play!

Addyson Schneider

Addy Schneider is an active little girl with a love for volleyball and softball. Watching her play today, you would never know that a golf cart accident last year left Addy fearing that she might never play her favorite sports again.

In April of last year, Addy was riding as a passenger in a golf cart. During the ride, she fell out while the cart was still in full motion. Addy landed hard on her arm. Her parents brought her to the Kleinert Kutz Hand Emergency Room located in the Jewish Hospital ER in downtown Louisville, where she saw Dr. Huey Tien.

Addy’s parents had this to say about their experience with Kleinert Kutz, “Dr. Tien and his staff immediately made Addyson comfortable and did an excellent job explaining everything to my husband and I. After successfully resetting Addyson's arm that night, we were able to go home. We followed-up with Dr. Tien for a cast and several check-ups.

“Addyson absolutely loves Dr. Tien. Addyson has made a friend in Dr. Tien. The laughter between the two of them was a comfort to us as parents. Dr. Tien turned what could have been one of the worst days of Addyson’s life to a memory of a bad accident that was quickly given the best of care. Today, thanks to Dr Tien and his staff, Addyson is able to enjoy her love of playing volleyball and softball and is stronger than ever.”
