Christine M. Kleinert Institute Receives Five Year Teaching Accreditation by ACGME!
The Christine M. Kleinert Institute’s Hand Surgery Fellowship program, in affiliation with the University of Louisville School of Medicine, was recently re-accredited by the ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) for an additional five years. This is the longest accreditation cycle that the ACGME awards. We congratulate Dr. Thomas Wolff, the Hand Surgery Fellowship Program Director, and his staff for their hard work! With 8 ACGME accredited fellowship positions for American and Canadian surgeons, as well as the internationally trained orthopedic, plastic and general surgeons who come to CMKI for additional training in hand and microsurgery.
The Christine M. Kleinert Institute is the world’s largest hand surgery fellowship program. Since 1960, more than 1,600 physicians from 58 countries have been trained as Hand Fellows in advanced microsurgical techniques at CMKI.
