Many children and adults are injured each year in lawn mower accidents.  Kleinert Kutz Hand Care Center wants you to protect yourself and your family by following these important safety tips.  

• Make sure children are indoors or well away from the area you plan to mow (and never assume children will remain where you last saw them).
• Children should never operate or ride power mowers.
• Do not allow children to ride as passengers on riding lawn mowers.
• Do not pull the mower backwards or mow in reverse, unless absolutely necessary; always be aware of your surroundings and look for children behind you.
• Never leave a power mower while it’s running.
• Mow only when the grass is dry and only during daylight.
• Use the safety features that come with the mower.
