Christine M. Kleinert Institute Offering Tendon Rehab Course
The Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand & Microsurgery is offering a Tendon Rehab: Flexor and Extensor Treatment and Splinting Course on Saturday, May 14, 2011. The course is from 8:00 A.M to 4:30 P.M. This course is designed for physical therapists, occupational therapists and assistants that commonly treat these injuries. The class will address flexor and extensor anatomy, surgical management, rehabilitation protocols and fabricating dynamic orthoses. The class is limited to 20 participants.

8:30AM to 4:30PM – Class with a one hour lunch break.
Cost: $150 per person. Group discounts available.
Instructors:
Holly Habeeb, PT – has been with the Kleinert team since 2006 and has worked closely on the DRUJ Aptis prosthesis protocol and research.
Ashley Buren Emrich, OTR/L, CHT – has been with Kleinert team since 2005 and has worked on the hand transplant team.
Greg Fry, COF - has been with the Kleinert team since 1990, and has worked on the hand transplant team.
