Hand Therapy Center

The Kleinert Hand Therapy Center brings comprehensive care to patients with acute or chronic issues relating to the hand, wrist, elbow or shoulder through a combination of rehabilitation and custom brace application. These services are provided by our team of specialized physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists and certified orthotic fitters in conjunction with the Kleinert Kutz Hand Care Center specialists. We utilize a collaborative team process to gain optimal outcomes for patients of all ages.

Most of our therapists are Certified Hand Therapists (CHT), credentialed through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission. A CHT is an occupational therapist or physical therapist that has specialized in hand therapy and has a minimum of five years of clinical experience, including 4,000 hours or more in direct hand therapy practice. In addition, the Certified Hand Therapist has successfully passed a comprehensive test of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper quarter rehabilitation. The Certified Hand Therapist credential offers assurance to the public that the physical/occupational therapist has achieved the highest level of competency in the profession and stays up to date with practice within the field.
