The team approach let us care for multiple patients with severe trauma or minor injuries. Physicians have privileges at several emergency departments in Kentucky and Indiana. If necessary, air ambulance service is available through the Louisville Medical Center STATCARE. This service consists of two helicopters and two airplanes. The service range for the helicopters is about 150 miles from Louisville, Kentucky. The airplanes can travel internationally.
